Ok, all done and should work now :) Just reposted the pics on my imageshack account to make the thread look better :) Anyway, that was the same Jeroen I was talking about Jarno :) It ain't a surpeise that the manifold didn't last long because the power output for that engine is tremendous :) 1,8 BiT and over 500 hp is crazy :P But I still enjoy that car a lot :)

Always from Holland are best projects. Well done. Good luck!

Thanks for all the compliments everybody!

@ Justice: wow, I didn't think you had to put every photo onto an Imageshack account first, thanks for all your effort to show the pictures! 8-) My gratitude is great!
And no, it wasn't that much of a surprise the manifolds would tear sometime, but you know what they say: once the weakest link breaks, you rebuild it and improve it, just to wait what the next weakest link is ;) next stop with the new manifolds = more boost and the new aim for Jeroen is 550bhp. Hopefully I can give him a little run for his money with my new engine haha!

@ Darek: Yes, we've booked our hotel a long time back already! We're going out there from May the 5th, and head back to Holland again on May the 12th, in total we're going with 10 guys from the VW Polo Club Holland, and I hope to bring my grey 6N again, together with Jeroen Leenders who is aiming to bring his bi-turbo 6N :beach:

@ incognito89: I prefer the OEM bumpers too, that's why they went back on again. The airride struts are shortened Koni shocks, Koni yellow ones to be precise, with stiffness adjustability.

@ rzezin: yes, I've got some threads on several UK forums, but I don't visit them that much anymore, UK forums are too big with too many young children in Polo's :? which makes it not so much fun to look on UK forums for Polo's I feel.

@ everybody else: thanks for the nice compliments! :victory:

Hahaha, so I suspect it will be kinda hard for all of you to keep up with him at times :D Anyway, it's gonna be a nice event this year, some guys from PL will also go there I guess :)

And about clubpolo.co.uk, I've also seen it's gone worse in the last year or so...

Well I know enough guys who could beat him on the dragstrip, but those are some serious power-projects (800+bhp's), but it is really funny to see people in quick Audi's or Golf's R looked surprised when they get outrun by a "grocery-shopping-car" on the highway :D
And indeed clubpolo.co.uk has dropped in atmosphere and forum-fun way too much in the last 2 years :( too many "chav's" online as the Brittish call the young racer-boys themselves :(

Well, it's a Saturday, so I'm off to Jeroen workshop again to work on my Polo  I hope you all have a productive Saturday as well!

i haven't seen anti roll bar like this before, is it solve the rubbing/knocking problem when polo is lowered ? hope You understand what i'm talking about

here is this place in my gti Obrazek

@ wojtasllb: thank you! And yes, I do understand what your talking about! It does indeed also help against hitting the chassis on a good lowered car, plus it's 25mm in diameter, so thicker and therefore less bodyroll in hard cornering  It's a set from Eibach, unfortunately Eibach does not make or sell them anymore, so you'vee have to find a second handed set. H&R also makes the thicker anti-roll bars, but these do NOT help for the knocking against the chassis!

@ Darek: Cool! I hope to see and hopefully meet you guys there! Where are you staying? We've booked a hotel in Velden, outside the center of town on the hillside, even higher then the train-station, so out of the busy center, but we can perfectly hear all the VR6's, R32's and big turbo'd ABF's and 20vT's drive through Velden  what do you guys always visit during Worthersee? We hang out at the Shell in Velden, Faaker See at night, Pyramidkugel, Schiefling-parking and occasionally drive through Reifnitz.

Jarno it's really nice to hear that, this arb do the job :yahoo: i will be greatful, if you write this part serial number here  , also I found it here http://www.psituning.com/product.php/56 ... _bar_kits_ maybe somehow they still have it on stock :niewiem:

regards

You could always try at PSI Tuning, maybe they still have one on stock? Unfortunately the ARB's part number is faded off, I bought the set second-handed on Ebay, and the number was already unreadable when I installed it :banghead: I wanted to write it down myself as well, so I could easily find another one for my green 6N daily on Ebay, but I can't read the number on the ARB :( sorry wojtasllb

Also I tried to read some of you guys your topics on the forum, but it's hard for me to actually follow what you guys are discussing in topics because I can not read Polish :( but I do see a lot of really cool Polo's! You all are making some good looking Polo's out there! Good work all, respect! :good:

Jarno you can learn Polish , then you can read some topics about Polo Projects its a good idea.

already send email to PSI TUNNING and waiting for reply, even if they don't have one, maybe they have number in some archival ebaich part catalogs. I'm really into buying one for my gti, so if you found some more info about it, please share :oki: because like you said
less bodyroll in hard cornering
and that's what sport suspension should do ;) not only lowering the car :)

Haha, yes, I could try, but I think that would take too long to learn ;) plus I try to use Google Translator on the total page, but unfortunately that doesn't work when I'm logged onto the forum. Oh well, I'll just try to look at pictures like a child reading a comic-book haha!

That's for the link!

It just came to my mind, that the guy I bought the ARB-set from, gave me the TUV-papers for the set. We don't need TUV-papers in Holland, but I kept them in a file-holder, and just looked it up, and the part numbers are in there! :yahoo:
Part number for the front ARB is 85 46.3.20 VA, and rear is 85 46.3.20 HA

I hope that helps you in your search wojtasllb, if you need any more info that could be on the TUV-papers, just ask, and I can look for you ;) don't expect miracles from the ARB for lowering, it just gives a bit more space/range for using the shocks length, but it does help great for bodyroll, especially the rear one is great for keeping the ass of the car in place when cornering, preventing the back to slide.

yep, i know what you mean, if i get arb wchich is not knocking on chassis ,i will get set of coilovers asap :D

so if you can ,just turn wheels in your polo ,and take a picture in position like this (photo) to make sure eibach arb is the solution :oki:

I'll see if I can do that next time, problem is, I have huge tyres on at the moment, since it's sitting in the workshop for me to work on, so no pretty rims on it, but ugly ones with old, big tyres ;) so I can't turn the wheel too much unless I put the airride up high.

Plus I think you should better invest your money in a decent set of coilovers then in an ARB, good quality coilovers (like KW, Weitec, Koni, FK, H&R and NOT Ta-Technix, JOM or that shit) will massively improve handling of your car, plus you can go lower to lower the center of gravity of the car. And even with the standard ARB you can go a lot lower, I've got enough friends with a 6N2 GTI or who had one that were pretty low even with the standard ARB and didn't hit it.
